What we collect

• Account: username, display name, email or sign-in provider ID (Google, Apple), date of birth, country, language.
• Content: videos, captions, comments, messages, photos and voice notes you send, and their metadata. We remove location data (GPS) from photos and videos you upload.
• Activity: what you watch and for how long, thunders, saves, shares, follows, searches. Raw watch events aren’t stored; we keep hourly totals per video and a short-lived list of what you’ve seen so your feed doesn’t repeat.
• Device: device type, app version, push token, and device-integrity checks used to stop fake accounts.

How we use it

To run the app, rank Trending, deliver messages and notifications, keep people safe (moderation, spam and abuse prevention), provide support and meet legal obligations. Promotional pushes (like Trending alerts) are only sent if you turn them on.

Who sees what

Public videos and profiles can be seen by anyone, including people without the app through share links. Private accounts are visible only to approved followers. Direct messages are visible to the people in the chat; reported chats can be reviewed by our safety team.

Service providers

We use providers for hosting, storage and content delivery, push notifications, email, video processing and automated content scanning. They process data only on our instructions.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile, change privacy settings, switch notifications off, request a copy of your data (Settings → Help and support) and delete your account in the app or at https://trendify.khayalai.net/delete-account. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data and to object to processing.

Retention

We keep data while your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your videos and media and anonymize your messages. Some records (for example reports to authorities) are kept as long as the law requires.

Children

Trendify isn’t for children under 13. Teens get private accounts by default and adults can’t message them unless the teen follows them.
